Every few months I empty and refill the hot tub.
This means running the 3kW+ heater for about 12 hours.
It is really cool to be able to run that, and the air-con, and rest of house, all day, fuelled entirely by the nearest fusion reactor at no marginal cost.

Like watching paint dry, at the best of times, but waiting for the right point to change colour is even more tedious somehow!

Does anyone else's OCD really kick off that every time you get a repeat prescription the size, shape, packaging, of tables change. This time I have one change colour from white to green. I can't cope.

Tentatively saying facebook have changed back to older advertising strategy meaning people, like me, that hide ever single fucking advert, can finally have some week with no adverts before doing it again. For months now it has been same adverts over and over even when hidden. Maybe now some sanity.

One of the challenges with being a bit diabetic (insulin once a day) is handling hypos. All I have to do is eat regularly with any sort of routine - my body learns to expect food at certain times somehow. The moment routine breaks down it all falls apart and I get very grumpy and/or ill! My wife does quite well coping with this, well, mostly...

As a long time linux and Mac user it seems really strange getting a quote for Windows

Parking on private property is entirely civil/contractual, and I am sure the land owners are more than happy. But people like to be outraged on behalf of others, don’t they!
