Not sure this is best way, but I'll try.
Looking for recommendations...
I want windows at front of house changed to something more soundproof. They are already double glazed units.
And half mirrored, not just for privacy but for heat.
Abergavenny - any suggestions?

OK, looks like acoustic glass (double, not triple glazed) with tinting (privacy film) is sensible. We'll see how it goes. Yay A40 noise gone...

So, I had one noisy room in the house I lived in that had dual paned windows. Also noticed that wall was colder in the winter.

Checked around the window, and there was no insulation, like there was in the walls around the other windows.

@revk daft question but what is privacy film for glass?

@stolas_mk2 half mirror - see out not in (when sunny). We have on downstairs windows now (directly on street).
